Halmahera is the right island to see one of the most exotic Bird of Paradise in the Wallacea region – the Standardwing Bird of Paradise. We can also watch this fascinating bird at the leg display site including Moluccan Scops-owl, Moluccan Owlet-nightjar, Eclectus Parrot, Chattering Lory, White Cockatoo, Moluccan King Parrot with hope Drummer Rail, Blyth’s Hornbill, Golden Bulbul, Common Golden Whistler, Dusky-brown Oriole, Dusky Scrubfowl, Moluccan Scrubfowl, Variable Goshawk, Moluccan Goshawk, Blue-and-white Kingfisher, Common Paradise and Sombre Kingfishers, Long-billed Crow, Metalic Starling, Moluccan Cucoo-shrike, and many more including Ivory-breasted Pitta.

Itinerary
Day 01 : Manado -Ternate - Sidangoli
We will travel by Air to Ternate, onwards via a speedboat to Sidangoli
Check-in at Handayani homestay. Afternoon birding around around Kali Batu Putih for seeing Night birds. Return to the home stay for overnight. (BLD)
Day 02 : Sidangoli - Kali Batu Putih / KBP-Tobelo
We will arise early morning, birding along the path through dense forest for seeing Standard wing paradise bird. Keep driving slowly to Lame and tobelo, check-in at Hermosa Villa or Alva Mas hotel. After dinner, continue driving to Galela, night birding for seeing Molluccan Scrubfowl. Return to the accommodation for overnight. (BLD)
Day 03 : Tobelo – KBP/Lame - Sidangol i-Ternate
After breakfast drive away back to Sidangoli, birding along the way.
The trip continues via a speedboat return to Ternate.
Transfer to Bukit Pelangi Hotel for overnight. (BLD)
Day 04 : Ternate-Manado
Transfer to the airport for return flight to Manado.
